At Palm Grove we offer many activities in which you can do while on camp to make your stay more enjoyable.
There are also many other attractions on the Kapiti Coast which offer a complete diversity from a day at the beach to a

Archery

We have Archery equipment for hire that can be used during your stay.

Swimming Pool
 |
We have a lovely swimming pool that is open for your use between late October to mid April. It has a shallow end for the younger ones, as well as a separate toddlers pool. |
Water Slide
 |
Our 90 meter canvas water slide is one of a kind, come and experience the exhilarating ride. |
Playing Fields
 |
We have two playing fields, one with goal posts, ideal for rugby or soccer. Great for group activities. |
Confidence Course
 |
Our confidence course has elements spread around the camp. Great for building the confidence of campers while you enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Activity sheets are available on request. |
Low Ropes Confidence Course
 |
Come and challenge yourself on our low ropes. Our qualified staff will guide you through the course.

High Ropes Confidence Course
 |
Come and challenge yourself on our high ropes. Elements are suspended seven meters off the ground. Great for Intermediate - Adults. Our qualified staff will put you through the course using full safety equipment.

Orienteering
 |
Orienteering is available around the camp site.
An orienteering map is available here for you to photocopy and bring along. |
Gymnasium Activities
 |
Gymnasium activities include but are not limited to, basket ball, indoor soccer, unihoc, netball and indoor cricket. With the addition of carpet on the floor, makes a great meeting hall. |
Trampolines

We have two octagonal trampolines that you may use while on camp. |
Nga Manu Nature Reserve
 |
Nga Manu Nature Reserve offers you a unique opportunity to have a hands on experience related to the natural history of New Zealand. We hope that by visiting the Reserve you will gain an understanding of the ecosystems by using examples of plants and animals that can be observed within the different habitats that make up the Reserves ecosystems. |
Southwards Car Museum
 |
The Southward Car Museum which opened in 1979, has on show a selection of vehicles from one of the largest and most comprehensive privately owned collections of veteran and vintage cars in the Southern Hemisphere. The collection comprises some 250 vehicles, approximately half of which are on display at any one time.

Stables on the Park

Stables on the Park offers horse treks of all lengths, for all abilities and all ages over beautiful parkland, exciting farmland and immaculate beaches.
